The custom designed unit was developed in close cooperation with the customer. Our development consisted of the following elements:
- Mechanical construction
- LC-Display with projective capacitive touch operation (PCT) as user interface
- Image scanner seamlessly integrated into the front glass
- Computer-on-module (COM) design with custom designed motherboard
- Motherboard with 10-times LAN switch and microcontroller for internal operation and self-diagnosis.
- Passive convection cooling via heatpipe
- Silicone disc as robust mass storage device without mechanical parts
- Power supply qualified for medical equipment
- Service friendly by consequent modular structure (design for service)
- The production and assembly of the units is done at our premises, the complete test including 24 hours burn-in, test report and documentation according to customer specifications.
