PhoenixTouch24 – fire-safe touch display
With the MOStron PhoenixTouch24, a device has been developed that guarantees maximum fire protection. An ingenious combination of special design and materials makes the MOStron PhoenixTouch24 extremely safe – it is non-combustible. In contrast to fire-safe enclosed monitors, the PhoenixTouch24 can not only be used as a pure display, it can also be operated as a touch monitor. For example, it can be used as a digital board in the building entrance.
Suitable for escape and rescue routes
The fire behavior of PhoenixTouch24 was tested at the Materialprüfanstalt NRW in Erwitte in accordance with the test procedure required for the classification of the fire behavior of building materials in accordance with DIN EN 13823 (SBI test). The results are well above the criteria for classification as a non-combustible building material and also prove that there is no need to assume any risk from fire smoke or burning droplets (building material class A2 -s1,d0). This test result of the “PhoenixTouch24” proves a significantly better fire behavior than for the next weaker flammability class “flame-retardant”, which can also be achieved by materials with considerable amounts of flammable substances and whose usability in escape routes can give rise to concerns.
- Can be operated by touch – despite special fire-resistant glass
- Vandal-proof metal housing with special wall mounting plate
- No freely accessible connections, no exposed cables: due to the direct entry of cable systems from the wall of the building into the housing, there is hardly any possibility of the device function and reliability being rendered inoperable by external damage to the cable system
- Virtually oxygen-free interior: maximum fire protection in the event of internal faults
- Compared to housed displays and monitors, the PhoenixTouch24 is compact, relatively flat and requires little space.
We have had a fire protection report drawn up for our Phoenix.
We will be happy to send you this on request.
